Our screens are constructed with a continuous "V" shaped wire wrapped around, and welded to, perpendicular support rods with a specific slot opening for high intake efficiency.
The screen surface can be on the inside or outside of the cylinder to give flow in to out or out to in. Usually made in Stainless steel but other material is available.
