Product Description
Self-regulating heating cable that automatically varies its heat output with changes in the surrounding temperature. Because of the self-regulating feature of this cable, it can be safely wrapped over itself if necessary, when installed on pipes, valves or flanges.
Simple yet highly effective, our cables provide maximum freeze protection for plastic or metal pipes and vessels in ambient temperatures down to -40°C. Our cables will also maintain liquids in pipes at a constant temperature to prevent degradation of the liquid, or to preserve required viscosity for flow conditions.
Our cables feature 1.5mm2 tinned copper bus wires, ptc conductive materials, insulation braid, metal braid, and a modified polyolefin over jacket. They are available in power densities of 25 watts per meter at 10º C, for 220v applications. At last, this kind of cables are easy to be installed.
