Product Description
It is a good option for keeping many kinds of pipes warm in commercial construction, institutional buildings and some industrial freeze protection applications. It will vary its output along its entire length, save energy and eliminate hot spots along the pipe. It is also easy to be installed and could be cut-to-length at any point on the pipe. It can be single over-lapped without overheating the cable.
It consists of two tinned copper bus wires with a self regulating, irradiation cross linked conductive core and a modified polyolefin inner jacket (tinned copper or stainless steel metallic over shield is sold separately), and overjacket. It can withstand an intermittent exposure temperature of 185°F (85°C) maximum. Maximum intermittent exposure temperature: 185°F (85°C).Maximum maintance temperature:149°F(65°C). Maximum circuit length is 100m length.
