Consists of two tinned copper 1.5mm2 bus wires with a self regulating, irradiation crosslinked conductive core and a modified polyolefin inner jacket, tinned copper metal braid with thermoplastsic elastomer over jacket.
Whenever the heat loss of the insulated pipe, tank or equipment increases (as ambient temperature drops), the heat output of the cable increases. Conversely, when the heat loss decreases (as the ambient temperature rises or product flows), the cable reacts by reducing its heat output. Our cables are approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) areas and hazardous (classified) areas.
