Its corrosion resistance, toughness and weldable with the increase of chromium content in terms of enhanced, better than other types of resistance to chloride stress corrosion of stainless steel. Fall into this category include Crl7, Cr17Mo2Ti, Cr25,Cr25Mo3Ti, Cr28 and so on. Ferritic stainless steel because of the high chromium content, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance are good, but poor mechanical properties and processing performance, usually used in force do not use acid structure and oxidation resistance of steel. This type of steel resistant to atmospheric, nitric acid and corrosion of brine solution, and with good high temperature oxidation resistance and thermal expansion coefficient smaller features, used in nitric acid and food equipment, can also be made to work under high temperature parts, such as gas turbine parts and so on.
