Stainless Steel Flat Bar 316 has been alloyed to greatly increase the corrosion resistance over that of carbon/alloy steel. Common alloying ingredients include chromium (usually at least 11%), nickel, or molybdenum. Low carbon content of Stainless Steel Flat Bar 316 means less carbide precipitation in the heat-affected zone during welding and a lower susceptibility to intergranular corrosion.Stainless Steel Flat Bar 316 widely used for industrial tools, mechanical parts, structure and escalator for construction etc.
