The laser therapy instrument uses yttrium alumnium garnet crystal doped with neodymium (Nd:YAG) as working material, and makes use of advanced Q-switch and the frequency upper-trnsformation technology. The opto-electronic Q-switch is similar to a high-speed gate which can release the laser energy within an extremely short time interval( ≈10 nano-seconds), and form a so-called huge pulse with very high power density. When the laser huge pulse is absorbed by the pigmented organisation or chromatophore, the reaction will transform the energy into a local shock wave and breaks up the pigmented organisation into pieces. This is the so-called “blasting effect” of laser. These pieces will be bring out of the body by the phagocytes in the followed inflammation. This tecnique has undergone clinical application in domestic and abroad medical units, and proved that it is effective and stable. The instrument is an useful apparatus for medical cosmetology.
