The electronic commutated motor are extremely quiet accross the whole 100% speed control range and offer power savings up to 90%, well in excess of standard asynchronous motors where efficiencies 30~60% only are typical. EC Controllable blowers with steep pressure/air flow characteristics curves and high maximum pressure are required to provide optimal fuel/air mixture and volume for modern gas or oil-fired heating boiler and also for gas technology.
