Engraving styli
The engraving styli for both HELL and MDC/Ohio machines are not only produced on sophisticated polishing benches but, during polishing, monitored by interference microscopy in order to secure the surface finish.
The angles of each individual stylus are measured with an in-house developed 3D laser measuring device. Strict quality control ensures that KO products are manufactured to meet or exceed the required specifications.

Standard type We produce three kinds of standard engraving styli: sprint, common and the straight holder type which is used in A system. These styli are mainly used in HELL engraving machine and can be repaired for several times, which therefore reduces your production cost efficiently. In the productive process, the high power microscope which is used for tip edge monitoring, the in-house-developed laser measurement apparatus for angle measuring, together with our strict quality control system enables every stylus we make achieve high accuracy. In addition to these repairable styli, we also produce oneway styli, which have the same quality with the repairable ones. And what's more, they improves your productivity by saving repairing time and downtime reduction. Honeycomb type Just like the standard styli, this type also gets the same sharp tip edge. The engraving cells appear like honeycomb. The advantage is that they save you more ink for same engraving area compaired with standard ones. When producing these styli, we can handle the diamond on your request, such as make a facet with 10-75μm on it. |
