The base material for cold rolled steel strips is hot rolled steel. We need to first make the production of full-hard cold rolled steel strips which is produced by rolling hot rolled steel. The surface of full-hard cold rolled steel strips is usually more smooth and bright than hot rolled steel. However, the internal stress of cold rolled steel strips is high and it's very hard , not easy to bend. So we ususlly make the cold rolled steel strips soft and cancel the internal stress by annealing.
