Cold Rolled Steel Strips

The base material for cold rolled steel strips is hot rolled steel. We need to first make the production of full-hard cold rolled steel strips which is produced by rolling hot rolled steel. The surface of full-hard cold rolled steel strips is usually more smooth and bright than hot rolled steel. However, the internal stress of cold rolled steel strips is high and it's very hard , not easy to bend. So we ususlly make the cold rolled steel strips soft and cancel the internal stress by annealing.

The standard of cold rolled steel strips varies according to different countries, but which is major used as per EN,JIS,GB and DIN.

Standard of cold rolled steel strips as per EN 10130, then the steel grade of cold rolled steel strips can be DC01, DC02, DC03, DC04.

Standard of cold rolled steel strips as per GBT11253, then the steel grade of cold rolled steel strips can be Q195,Q235.

Standard of cold rolled steel strips as per JIS G3141, then the steel grade of cold rolled steel strips can be SPCC,SPCD,SPCE.

Standard of cold rolled steel strips as per DIN 1623, then the steel grade of cold rolled steel strips can be ST12, ST13, ST14, ST15

Different steel grade of cold rolled steel strips means different drawing quality.

Usually, the cold rolled steel strips are oiled to protect the cold rolled steel strips against corrosion during the storage or transportation.

Usually, the surface of colled rolled steel coils can be bright,semi-bright, normal and rough. And sometimes, our clients also need the cold rolled steel strips with black annealed. So the surface is black due to the oxidation of steel in the air.
