Each sheet is expended inthe regular from and then passed though a cold rolled reducing mill. Inthis process the length of the sheet is elongated-usually about 5%- butthe width of the sheet remains the same. The sheet is then sent through aleveler to maintain its flatness.
Copper Expanded Metalis Regular Expended Metal that has been passed though flattening rolls(cold rolled).This rolling process reduces the thickness of the sheet,stretches the pattern of the sheet, and provides a smooth flat finish.
Copper Expended Metalis a finished product as it comes from the press after having been diecut and expended. Each sheet that comes off the expender is in standardor regular form with the junctions at the stands and bonds forming aridge surface.
