Sensor holders for Parallel technique

RX2 HP sensor is equipped with the Sensor holder kit for parallel technique. It ensures perfect image acquisition in vertical and horizontal position, bitewing and endo techniques.

The sensor holders can be sterilized in autoclave and is essential for the dental practitioner to get images perfectly parallel to the x-ray unit cone. This is particularly necessary in endodontics, periodontal and implan tological treatments. The sensor holders are made of a special resin that gives them an optimum flexibility, thus improving the easy use by the practitioner with the greatest patient comfort.

High resolution CCD

CCD with 26.3 IP/mm resolution,19 m pixel size and Caesium lodide Scintillator(CSI technology) that produces very high resolution images while reducing the X-ray does received by the patient. It incorporates a fiber optic layer that protects the microprocessor and drives light from the scintillator directly to the CCD surface, with a real grey transfer of 16 bit.(i.e.4096 grey levels)

CSI

The Caesium lodide Scintillator shelter is the first one to capture the X-rays and transform them into visible light.

It is designed with a vertically grown process that generates a columnar microstructure to ensure excellent image quality.

CCD:

It transforms light into digital images, with the high resolution of 26.3 IP/MM,which correstonds to 1508*1200pixel.
