Fluorine Rubber Sheets also called Fluoro Elastomer Rubber and FKMRubber. Dupont called "Viton Rubber Sheets" or Viton. It is based onhexafluoropropylene vinylidene fluoride.
Temperature:
- 40 °C to + 250 °C.
Application:
Fluorine Rubber Sheets has also possesses a good flame resistance and isusually self extinguishing. FKM have excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and natural weathering and also have outstanding resistance tocompression, expecially at elevated temperatures. Viton rubberresistance to most solventsand chemicals give long service life as ithas excellent resistance against hydrocarbons, aliphatic, aromatic andchlorinated chemicals and resistance to acids and alkalis includingoxidants. However, they have poor performance against ethers, ketonesand bases.
