Material: different material with different magnetic conductivity will determine higher or lower magnetic clamping force. Alloy steel and high-carbonated steel will reduce clamping force.
Contact area:actual magnetic clamping force can be generated is proportional to the numbers of magnetic pole in contact with (covered) back-plate area of the mould.
Air-gap: air-gap between the surface of magnetic plate and the surface of mould back-plate will reduce magnetic clamping force rapidly. For example, when average Aair-gap increase to 0.4mm, actual magnetic clamping force will reduce to 60% of normal level.
Back-plate thickness of mould: reasonable back-plate thickness of the mould is necessary for maintaining constant magnetic clamping force. Back-plate thickness less than 20mm will reduce magnetic clamping force.
