Description
The Brno Flat Bar Chair (1930) is a masterpiece of structure,paying tribute to early modernism's gravity-defying skyscrapers.
Designed by Mies van der Rohe to have a cantilevered base, theBrno offers the comfort of an armchair without the old-line stuffiness or bulkof upholstery.
Weighty bar stock steel lends the chair its strength and boastsseamless joints and hidden hardware. The padded seat is upholstered in supplefull-grain leather for long-enduring appearance retention and ease ofmaintenance-two especially important features for offices and waiting areas.
