The Y series three-phrase induction motor is designed into totally enclosed, self-fan-cooling motor with squirrel-cage type. It represents a new basic series of standardized design in China and a new designed product to replace the JO2 series. This series motor has the following advantages: high reliability, high efficiency, energy conservation, good performance, convenient operation and maintenance, low noise, small vibration and it is up to the provisions of IEC standards. This series motor is suitable for operation in general localities which do not contain inflammable, explosive and corrosive gases and suitable for driving machines which have no special requirements, such as: metal cutting machine tools, pumps, fans, mixers, transportation machinery, agricultural machinery and food stuff machinery etc. Because of the motor's good starting performance, they are also adapted to the machinery with higher starting torque, such as compressors etc.
