Color and Characteristics:
Yellowish/light gray to yellow color. Fine, gray-brown striped pattern gives an exclusive accent. The sapwood of zebrawood is whitish and distinct from the heartwood, which is pale yellow brown with narrow darker streaks. The striping pattern can vary considerably (hence its name), and that pattern can be maximized by quarter-sawing. A fashionable classic: precious and vivacious, exclusive and fresh. The striped pattern gives it a fine, nearly feminine aura without appearing fragile.
