Polyvinyl Chloride, commonly abbreviated as PVC is a thermoplastic polymer that is widely used to make various kinds of machines. PVC belongs to family of vinyl resin and is used for manufacturing soft films for use in food packaging and other products such as pipes, upholstery, fibers etc. It is a colorless, tasteless, odorless polymer of vinyl chloride that is insoluble in most organic solvents.
