1. Plain Weave
This is the weave we stock, it is used for the majority of applications and is the simplest weave. Each wire is passed over and under each adjacent wire in both directions.The wire diameter and mesh count are usually the same in warp and weft.The mesh has a large free open area and a high flow rate making it suitable for most straining and sieving purposes. Mosquito mesh is available in a plain weave stainless steel and Aluminium.

2. Twill Weave
This is frequently used in very fine meshes and it is less rigid than plain weave. Each wire is passed alternatively over two and then under the next two cross wires. By staggering the weave a diagonal pattern is obtained in which heavier wire diameter can be used than would be possible with a plain weave of the same mesh counts.
3. Twill Dutch Weave
Twill Dutch Weave is also known as Twilled Filter Cloth. It is used for fine filtration of liquid products. Its weave pattern is similar to plain dutch weave but it uses a double layer of weft wires woven as a twill pattern. It is very strong, with a controlled flow rate and is suitable where high pressure filtration is required.
4. Plain Dutch Weave
Also known as Plain Filter Cloth its weave pattern is the same as plain weave, but the weft wires are of smaller diameter than the warp wires. The wires are woven tightly together resulting in a small triangular opening. This weave produces a strong cloth with a small open area with a good flow rate, making it suitable for high pressure filtration.
