Buhler Used Bran Finisher MKLA 45/110 D

The impact bran finisher MKLAdetaches adhering endosperm par-ticles from the bran and thus in-creases the flour extraction rate inthe mill.

Working principle
The rotating,adjustable beatersseize the tangentially incomingstream of bran and fling it againstthe impact wall and the screen. Thebran is repeatedly picked up by therotor, gradually causing the flourparticles to become completelydetached. The special design ofthe screen prevents the stream ofbran from simply rotating along withthe rotor. The slight vibration of theflexible screen keeps the perfora-tions open. lf the screen throughsare not pneumatically removed, themachine has to be connected to anexhaust system.
