Aramid Fiber PTFE Packing
It is a braided packing made of Aramid Fiber yarns impregnated with PTFE dispersion and treatde with lubricant. This packing can bear higher-pressure applications than other types of braided packing. Due to its steel-like streingth, this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up riongs with other types of packing. This packing has been developed to replace asbestos packing for pump systems. It covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provides and even muchbetter. It affords longer service life under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction, such as sand sulrry, tinmining, paper slurry, feed water pump of power stations, etc.
