From 04/2009 onwards Mercedes DAS has an extra Interface/program called Xentry . When you open it up, it looks like the picture below
To install the new Xentry interface you need a specific key, and in most cases, some extra files.
If you do not have an Xentry Key, you can still use the older style DAS, however, you willl not be able to access models such as the 212, 207 and 204.
