Maofeng tea of Yellow Mountain is curly like tongue of sparrow. Green mingled with yellowish, silvery tippy. With golden yellow fish leaves (Commonly referred to as golden leave). When steeped in water, foggy at the surface. The soup color is light green mingled with yellowish. Leave bases are yellowish green with vividness, tastes mellow, smells like orchid with a lasting aftertaste.
Brewing Method:
Ratio: Weight ratio of tea and water 1:80. Whiteware cup is often used. Each cup put 3 grams of tea leaves. Common glassy cup, each cup 2 grams of leaves.
Water Temperature: Brew with boiled water of 80℃-90℃. When the tea soup turns bright green, the tea fragrance is pure and taste is mellow and sweet.
Brewing Time: Put the Maofeng tea of Yellow Mountain into the cup. Firstly infuse some hot water until the leaves are immersed in water. Cover up for three minutes or so. And then add the water to 70-80% full of the cup. Drink it when it's still hot.
Times: Generally 3-4 times.
