NdFeB magnets, known as the Third Generation of Rare Earth magnets, Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets are the most powerful and advanced commercialized permanent magnets today. Since made from Neodymium, one of the most plentiful rare-earth elements, and inexpensive iron, NdFeB magnets offer the best value in cost and performance.
NdFeB Magnets are available in both sintered and bonded forms. Sintered NdFeB offers the highest magnetic properties (33 MGOe to 51 MGOe) while Bonded NdFeB offers lower energy properties. Although bonded magnets do not possess magnetic properties as advanced as those of sintered magnets, they can be made in shapes and sizes that are difficult to achieve with sintering.
Customized Designs NdFeB Magnets are the most widely used Rare Earth magnets. Some typical applications include tape recorders, alternators, pacemakers, biasing applications, flow meters, gyroscopes, and linear actuators. We stock Neodymium blocks and plugs in a variety of sizes and grades for immediate shipment and also provide custom cutting. Corrosion-resistant nickel-plating from .0004 inch to .0008 inch thick and heat-resistant grades are available. Nickel plating helps protect against corrosion. For high-temperature service, Neodymium Grade 30SH can safely be used at operating temperatures up to 300° Fahrenheit (149° Celsius) – depending on the magnetic circuit. Call for technical advice.
Why choose sintered NdFeB Magnets?
1. Chemical composition: Nd2Fe14B.
Neodymium magnets are hard, brittle and easily corrode.
2. Moderate temperature stability
Neodymium magnets lose -0.09 ~ -0.13% of Br/°C. Their working stability is under 80°C for low Hci Neodymium magnets and above 200°C for high Hci Neodymium magnets.
3. Excellent strength value
The highest (BH)max reaches up to 51MGOe .
4. Advanced Technology
The choice of Strip casting and HDDR technology in our factory allows us to make high performance NdFeB over N52 possible.
5. Extremely resistance to demagnetization with Hci
The intrinsic coercive force is over 30,000 Oe.
6. Effective surface treatment to prevent corrosion.
Surface treatments have been developed that allow them to be used in most applications. The treatments include gold, nickel, zinc and tin plating and epoxy resin coating.
7. Common uses in different fields:

Advantage:
The strongest magnets in the world. They can lift up to 1000 times their own weight.
Far better permanent magnetic performance compared with traditional magnets, but the price is relatively low. (by weight about 20 times Ferrite magnet, by dollars per BHmax about 1.5 times Ferrite magnet)
Wide range of grades with new ones regularly being developed.
Available from very small sizes to large blocks.
Relatively easy to machine, compare to AlNiCo and Smco magnets
High resistance to demagnetization.
