Geocomposite is composed of Glass Fiber or Polyester fiber and Needlepunched Non-woven Geotextile. They are high strength, high modulus fiberglass meshes that reduce the potential for thermal and stress-related cracks through to the surface of a new asphalt overlay.From the regular geogrid products there is one significant enhancement: the non-woven fabric layer is saturated with bitumen in order to provide an effective moisture barrier.
