SPEEDY SEAL PUNCTURE REPAIR KIT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove debris from tyre tread or sidewall using a suitable tool such as a pair od pliers.
Take care, as residual air will escape under pressure.
2. Apply lubricant to the spiral shaft of the reamer tool. This will help to probe the hold a
nd temporarily separate the steel belts without damage.
3. Insert the reamer into the puncture hold and push in whilst roating the handle to clean
out the hole. Reinflate tyre to help with insertion cord.
4. Thread the repair cord through the eye of the insertion tool until equal parts are either
side of the tool. Lubricant may be added to the tip to make insertion easier.
5. Firmly push the insertion tool and cord into the tyre until the sleeve is fully home against
the tyre. A small amount of the cord should still be visible.
6. To remove the tool, hold the sleeve firmly against the tyre and pull up on the handle. Note,
do not twist the handle. Trim the excess protruding cord with a suitable blade.
7. Reinflate the tyre using a suitable compressor and check for leaks.
8. Check the repair regularly and have the tyre professionally checked and repaired as soon
as possible. Speedy seals are only intended to be used as a temporary repair.
