Operating principle

  A rod mill consists of a horizontal cylindrical shell ,provided with renewable wearing liners and grinding medium—steel rods .When the shell rotates,the steel rods begin rolling ,afer awhile , they will be taken to a certain height of the shell wall and then thrown down and have a linear contact with the materials ,in this way,the materials fed into the machine will be crushed and ground by the rolling rods. The larger particles will be ground first and the smaller ones second,so the particle size are uniform and only a little powder left.
