Our magnetic separator falls into wet magnetic separator and dry magnetic separator.
Permanent Cylindrical Wet Magnetic Separator
Permanent cylindrical wet magnetic separator is use for wet separation of ferromagnetic minerals and non-ferromagnetic minerals. It can work continuously with its large working clearance, good magnetic depth, and strong processing capacity. Its working principle is that when the pulps enter the magnetic zone, the ferromagnetic minerals are absorbed at the wall of the cylinder. The weekly magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are then swung off. Thus, the ferromagnetic minerals and non-ferromagnetic minerals are separated by this permanent cylindrical wet magnetic separator.
The cylinder of this permanent cylindrical wet magnetic separator can be matched with three kinds of tanks: CTS, CTN and CTD for different separation requirements. The CTS is suitable for roughing and concentrating minerals with a granularity range from 0 to 6mm. CTN is suitable for both roughing and concentrating minerals with a granularity range from 0 to 0.6mm and recycling dense media in coal preparation industry. CTD is suitable for roughing and concentrating minerals with a granularity range from 0 to 0.5mm. It is particularly suitable for concentrating of minerals with a granularity range from 0 to 0.15mm.
Permanent Cylindrical Dry Powder Magnetic Separator
Permanent cylindrical dry powder magnetic separator is available from one cylinder to four cylinders. It is a magnetic separator that is used to continuously remove iron from dry powder materials. This magnetic separator adopts NdFeB as the magnetic source and is of strong magnetic force, strong suction, high efficiency, free maintenance, good energy efficiency, safe operation, and more characteristics. The charging speed is controllable for different granular requirements. This magnetic separator is widely used for applications in grinding material and apparatus, fireproofing materials, non-metal mineral processing, carbon black, food, fodder and chemical material industries.
Working Principle of Magnetic Separator
When the pulp flows to the tank in the magnetic separator, the mineral granules spreads under the impact of the water flow from the show pipe. As a result of the magnetic force, the magnetic minerals concentrate as a lump or a chain. This lump or chain is then absorbed on the cylinder owing to the magnetic force. When the magnetic lump or chain rotates with the cylinder, gangues and other non-magnetic minerals falls off from the lump or chain and are then discharged with the pulp. The lump or chain left at the wall of the cylinder is ore concentrate. It is then discharged off from the magnetic separator with water.
