Icon of Smiling face:The formaldehyde is virtually zero in the room. No measures are needed.
Icon of Plant: The formaldehyde in the room is in critical condition. It is suggested that you keep such plants as ivy, bracket plant and aloe to absorb the formaldehyde.
Icon of Opening window: The formaldehyde in the room is above standard and immediate actions are needed, like opening windows to renew the air. The number of the indicator bars is that of the times of the allowable content of formaldehyde (The maximum display is five times of the allowable value.)
Caution:
The latent period of formaldehyde is 3-15 years. The best approach is to open windows to air the room. If an apartment has not been ventilated for most of the time during a year,the formaldehyde is above the safety standard by 80% or more. If it has been ventilated for 2-6 months, the the formaldehyde is above the safety standard by 50%. The apartment that has been ventilated for over 6 months will generally have excellent air quality.
