Quartz crucible is suitable for K2S2O7, KHSO4 as the flux for melting the sample as well as the Na2S207 (first in the 212-degree dry) . Quartz is easy brittle and break ,so note when used it. In addition to HF, the ordinary dilute inorganic acid can be used as cleaning
fluid.
