This machine is also called as " Wick Inserting Machine" , " Wick Assembling Machine" , " Wick Crimper" or " Metal Sustainer Placing Machine" etc.
After being coated, the Waxed Candle Wick is moved to the Wick Cutting Machine, where the wick is cut to a selected length and the safety tab ( or sustainer tab) is crimped onto the end. The machine is pneumatic and automatic. Wick feed, crimp, and cut are done all in one operation. When there is a defect in the wick or tab, the machine stops automatically.
